Man Arrested for Cubing!

If you thought that speedcubing is a harmless, sissy little sport for nerds, think again!
speedcuber from Indonesia just can’t enough of his beloved Rubik’s Cube. He practices all day long and anytime he can get this hands on the world’s most popular toy. May it be inside the shower, under his bed, and even inside his car’s trunk! No, I’m just kidding!
Apparently, they ran out of places to play with his precious cube that he took some friends out to the streets. Now, now, this may look like a scene from Step Up to the Streets movie but it seriously looks more like Revenge of the Nerds! Cool idea though. Not.
Somewhere in Didik Danardono’s complex network of interconnected neurons inside his head we commonly refer to as a brain, idea struck! Why not use the countdown timer of the traffic light to time your solve while actually solving it in the middle of the highway?! Pretty neat idea huh!
The Indonesian Police did not find it funny though. See the next clip!

His friend Chucka speedsolving.com forum member, posted this picture below at the Indonesian Open 2009. According to him, he was given a special award for teaching the most people to solve Rubik’s Cube in my country. He had taught more than 100 cubers face-by face (without video tutorial).”

Good job DD Crow!
